2025-26 PBA COMCUP | POWER RANKINGS | START TO MAR 31

Welcome to the 2025–26 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Power Rankings. This is my individual breakdown of the players who have been playing insane basketball in the opening phase of the conference.

Now, let’s get a few things out of the way first. This is strictly an individual list, with no regard for team win–loss records. That’s why you’ll probably see three Macau players near the top despite their woeful standing in the team rankings.

You can probably guess why—they’ve been logging heavy minutes because of their extremely shallow bench.

Speaking of the Black Knights, I’ll be treating their non–Tony Mitchell players as locals for this list, especially since their actual locals are also eligible for the BPC race.

Anyway, June Mar Fajardo and his usual double-double production once again sit at the top of the list. If you’ve grown tired of his seemingly endless MVP runs, you might want to brace yourself—because he’s now just one Best Player of the Conference award away from collecting his tenth MVP.

That said, the race isn’t exactly a walk in the park for him. San Miguel has been dealing with import issues, and at the same time, a new wave of contenders has been making noise. Players like Robert Bolick, Damian Chongqui, RJ Abarrientos, Zavier Lucero, and Ricci Rivero have all made strong cases with their performances this conference.

Of course, there’s always the question of whether the league is willing to hand a major individual award to a player whose team fails to make a deep run. If that ends up being the case, Chongqui and Lucero in particular will need to do even more to drag their teams into the win column to keep their campaigns alive.

Rivero has been on a scoring tear this conference, but he’s hardly alone. Jerrick Ahanmisi, Jerom Lastimosa, Adrian Nocum, and Schonny Winston have also been lighting it up and making their presence felt on a nightly basis.

This ranking is also affected by blowouts. When Rain or Shine demolished Blackwater by 56 points, Adrian Nocum only logged 14 minutes, while Felix Lemetti saw just eight. Naturally, their numbers took a hit because of the limited playing time.

Finally, availability matters. Players who missed their team’s last three games have been removed from the rankings, while those who played in their team’s most recent outing are included—even if they missed several games earlier in the conference.

So yes, if you’re wondering where Juan Gomez de Liano is, now you know.
