2025-26 PBA PHILIPPINE CUP STATS | FINALS | SAN MIGUEL VS TNT - FIRST 3 GAMES

  • Jan 28
  • 2 min read

Are you sick and tired of June Mar Fajardo hoarding all the individual awards?

Well, too bad, because with the way he’s playing, he is not only the top pick to win the Philippine Cup BPC, he is also very much in the hunt for the Ramon Fernandez Finals MVP award.

Here’s the thing. While TNT has leveled up its roster to the point where players like Kevin Ferrer and Jio Jalalon are reduced to cameo roles, The Kraken remains too big of a threat. That said, San Miguel is far from being just the June Mar and CJ Perez show. Don Trollano is still a reliable third scoring option, while Jericho Cruz and Marcio Lassiter continue to get their moments.

The scary part for the Beermen’s opponents is that Mo Tautuaa is the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 16 points per game. All is not lost for TNT, though, as it would be ridiculous to count them out.

Anyway, here are the numbers from the first three games of the 2025–26 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars.

i didn't even realized that JMF is averaging 19 points, as both wins for SMB, he was not the BPG...

also Mo is having a field day, he's more a threat than JMF since he has license to shoot the 3 ball, and can roll to the basket better than JMF.

for TNT, their shooters better be on their top game this GAME 4, and they also should shut down the SMB shooters, give JMF and Mo the inside game, but never let CJ, Marcio, Don, Jericho shoot the lights out.

Yes, I agree. I think of all the TNT vs SMB matches naman, TNT has a better chance to contain JMF with Erram and BGR. However, yun nga, they also need to stop the SMB shooters, especially Cruz, Lassiter, and a random offensive magic bunot like Juami Tiongson, Chris Ross, or Jeron Teng. Parang almost certain kasi na puputok si Perez and Trollano.

Isa pa si Tautuaa. It's like he's possessed with Arwind Santos' Death Five version.
