2025 PBA DRAFT ORDER | OFFICIAL?

The PBA is once again fishing for the brightest collegiate stars to test their luck in the draft raffle. Based on updates from the league itself, Spin, All-Star Magazine, and even Basketball Zone’s FB page, more or less 84 names have already thrown their hats into the 2025 PBA Draft pool.

Rain or Shine holds the biggest haul with five total selections across the first two rounds, while Ginebra sits with one first-rounder and two second-rounders. TNT, on the other hand, won’t get on the board until the third round—but history tells us not to sleep on them. In the past two drafts, the Tropang Giga have turned supposed scraps into assets, flipping trades for Henry Galinato, scooping up Kim Aurin and CJ Payawal from rookie free agency, and even finding Jielo Razon in the undrafted bin.

That’s why some prospects might actually want to avoid the tail end of the first round and instead hope to slip into the third, where the powerhouse teams await with better chances of grooming fresh talent into legit contributors. And it’s still crazy to think we haven’t even seen the names of DJ Fenner, Clint Escamis, Kobe Paras, and CJ Lane pop up yet.

The PBA has already released the official draft order—though with Magnolia acquiring Javi Gomez de Liano in exchange for Jerrick Ahanmisi plus a Season 50 second-rounder, it’s anyone’s guess if more shakeups are on the way before draft day.
