2024 PBA DRAFT PREVIEW | THE DRAFT SCORE - ATENEO BLUE EAGLES

It's insane that the Ateneo Blue Eagles have yet to produce a PBA MVP at this point, especially with the way they command the PBA Draft.

Including Alex Araneta in 1991, the Eagles have four top picks. They also have a slew of Top 5 picks. You can say that their team 20 years ago comprised of Enrico Villanueva, Rich Alvarez, Wesley Gonzales, Jec Chia, Larry Fonacier, and LA Tenorio, among others, paved the way for their current rise as big-time PBA alumni producers.

It's hard to count the Ateneo players who have seen action in the PBA, and in hindsight, you CAN count the players who never saw action in the PBA.

Thus the reason why I called this "The Draft Score," is because one score is equal to 20 years. With that said, because the pandemic ruined a lot of things, we're just going to check out the last 20 drafts for each college team. I'm also going to do away with the undrafted players because they weren't drafted and most PBA information online isn't as extensive.

I think I am going to do this for most UAAP and NCAA teams - as well as some notable college teams.
