More than to piss him off, it feels as if the salty Brooklyn Nets crowd is trying to make James Harden break.
It is to note that Harden played for the Nets a couple of years back, losing a bunch of picks as well as Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince, and Caris LeVert in the process. In some ways, Brooklyn was "saved" by Daryl Morey by acquiring Harden. It was initially a bad deal but Ben Simmons is slowly getting to form and they have since gained a lot of new things from the debacle that was Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving.
And yeah, the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to title hunt, especially since they have four future Hall of Famers in their starting unit, but at least the Nets gave the Clips their fourth straight road loss.
