I recently put together a list of the 20 Greatest Players in MPBL history.

Now in its seventh year, one thing I’ve always liked about the league is how it gives ballers another place to play and prove themselves.

Right now, the MPBL has carved out a nice lane for PBA discards looking for a second chance, community ballers who just want to bring pride to their cities, and up-and-coming players trying to make enough noise to earn a shot at the PBA.

In a lot of ways, the MPBL feels like a mix of the old PBL and the MBA—and it proudly owns that identity.

That’s also why I wanted to dive into the numbers you’ll see in this blog. I pulled a bunch of stats straight from the MPBL website to highlight the league’s most recognizable stars, whether they’re true homegrown talents or guys who were recently drafted or are now making waves in the PBA.
