Just like at the start of most conferences, it's downright awkward to see your favorite players near the bottom of the rankings while the players you least expect are sitting at the top.

That has been the story of the 2026 PBA Governors' Cup so far.

TNT and Ginebra have yet to play a game after Week 1, while Terrafirma has already played four. Another surprise is Rain or Shine, which has yet to pick up a win despite its blazing start in the previous conference.

Then there's the injury to June Mar Fajardo, which paved the way for Rodney Brondial to go "full-on rebounding monster" by putting together an incredible 25-rebound performance.

Still, the usual suspects wasted no time making their presence felt, led by Justin Arana, who averaged 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists in Converge's last two games.
