I like the Kenny Omega promo. I usually don't. But maybe because I heard how he talked in real life, I guess this thing is real. I also thought his promo had a lot of strong points, mainly because of his admission of weakness.
With that said, why let Okada talk? He's like the male version of Asuka. While Asuka is better because she sports a playful but sadistic persona, if he's going to be the muscle of The New Elite, then he needs to talk less. Also, I was not too fond of Kenny taking a lot of time with his gun taunt. It's not Kenny's fault though, as he is in Winnipeg and this is basically for fan service, but Okada was just standing outside after giving Jack Perry a chair and he didn't have the urgency to just attack him after the taunt.
I mean, is he a psychic that he knew Omega was going to use the ropes?
The EVP Trigger is a better move to give Omega, but it felt like the setup was expected. It's the same setup they did to Tony Khan.
FTR for the save was odd, but it's not like Kenny has friends left in the locker room. I guess they are kayfabe torn between Omega and The Young Bucks, but the never-ending battle of FTR and Bucks is not good.
Finally, the ambulance attack on FTR and Omega is good, but only on the Omega part. When one of the Bucks said that they love Omega, but this is just business, it's a decent reason. Omega at the moment is an EVP, as well as a wrestler, on paper, while the Bucks have control and have Okada and Perry.
