From a second-round sleeper to a certified championship marksman, Jeff Chan carved out one of the most respected careers among PBA sharpshooters. Known as "The Trigger-Chan" and "The Negros Sniper," he built his legacy as a cold-blooded shooter with impeccable timing and poise—especially in clutch moments.
His breakout came in 2012, when he helped Rain or Shine capture the Governors' Cup title, earning Finals MVP and his lone Mythical Ten selection. That year cemented his status as one of the league's elite wing scorers, with a textbook shooting form and knack for moving without the ball.
The former Gilas Pilipinas mainstay was a key piece in several championship runs—six titles in total with Rain or Shine and Ginebra—thanks to his role as a floor-spacer, clutch performer, and seasoned leader. His two All-Star MVPs (2013, 2018 Visayas) show how much he resonated with fans across regions, especially in the provinces where he became a crowd favorite.
Chan’s quiet efficiency and lethal shooting made him a permanent threat on the floor—and a key contributor to every team he’s suited up for.
