I guess Fred VanVleet is the reason why Kyle Lowry left the Toronto Raptors.

Lowry thought VanVleet well.

He may have had choice words, but he had the best intentions.

I get that sometimes, it’s awesome to intercept a heave or mess up a side court inbound but with less than a second remaining and with four points left, the worst thing a player could do is give up a potential four-point play.

VanVleet is proving to be one of the best undrafted players ever and he’s made the other team owners pay for snubbing him at the 2016 NBA Draft.

Because here’s the thing –

Ben Simmons and teammate Pascal Siakam may have been All-NBA players while Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, and Domantas Sabonis have played in the All-Star game (Jamal Murray should have also played in one had not for the injury) but certainly, VanVleet’s career is better than fourth pick Dragan Bender, fifth pick Kris Dunn, tenth pick Thon Maker, and thirteenth pick Georgios Papagiannis.

I had to add Papagiannis… but don’t mind Big Papa.

The dude is playing well for Panathinaikos in the Euroleague.
