I may be a Ja Morant fan but I don't like the idea of him being the Most Improved Player. For starters, we expected him to become a superstar.
He's not like Jordan Poole who had to contend with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and potential big names like James Wiseman (injured all season) and Jonathan Kuminga.
With that said, his list of takedowns just keeps on improving.
This is an NBA regular season move... but Morant just nailed it in the playoffs. And while yeah, this looked mighty fine... the more important thing here is that for some reason, the Memphis Grizzlies woke up from their double-digit deficit to pull the rug under the Minnesota Timberwolves - pulling them a win away from breaching the next round.
And yeah, he also had a game-winner.
