THE ACCLAIMED | NATIONAL SCISSORING DAY

This started out dumb (in a good way).

Then, it turned emotional (that Super Bowl story is awesome and I had to Google Rich Caster all of a sudden).

And then, returned to being awesome.

Now I don't really like a lot of things associated with AEW but I think The Acclaimed (Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn) is good. Yes, I do listen to Jim Cornette, and yeah, I thought what The Gunn Club did was dumb, but I like The Acclaimed, FTR, Orange Cassidy (initially), MJF, and the former WWE guys who are used properly.

Also, I think I like AEW's episodics when they don't have labels. I still think they have long-term storylines because they can't figure out how to fit it in two weeks. I guess this is why the feud between The Acclaimed and Swerve In Your Glory has dragged on from All Out, Grand Slam, and probably Winter Is Coming.

I know this happened during AEW's anniversary episode but this feels like a regular episode - and there's nothing wrong with that.

And yeah, Happy Scissoring Day.
