The 2024-25 PBA Commissioner’s Cup rookie class continues to make waves with Jordan Heading at the forefront. Leading the rookie rankings with an impressive 17.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game, Heading is proving to be a stabilizing force for Converge, just like how Jimmy Alapag and current Converge teammate Alex Cabagnot did it in San Miguel.
Justine Baltazar is also catching attention, slowly but surely regaining the form that made him a standout in the MPBL. His 8.4 rebounds per game rank him among the best rookie rebounders, a key reason why Converge remains a competitive squad this conference.
Beyond Heading and Baltazar, the list features some exciting names. Sedrick Barefield’s 20.8 points per game have been electric for Blackwater, while RJ Abarrientos continues to provide a spark for Ginebra with his all-around play.
Meanwhile, Magnolia’s Jerom Lastimosa and Terrafirma’s Mark Nonoy are carving out their niches as reliable contributors despite their teams’ struggles.
