The 2022 NBA Draft left a bad taste on a lot of Pinoys because of the Kai Sotto draft snub.
With that said, we forget the fact that Japan has two players in the NBA right now.
One of those players is Japanese American Rui Hachimura. Playing for the Washington Wizards, this Gonzaga standout had the elements to succeed. He is a nationally-known player in the US who entered the NBA at the right age... and he acclimated well with how an NBA player's mind needs to work.
