THE "AFTER HOURS" EXPERIENCE

I have this thing for ordering the girliest drinks especially if they aren't expensive.

But yeah, their drinks are crazy expensive.

It was your basic Saturday. I just got back from errands - namely going to SM North and Mercury Drug. I also bought a bunch of toploaders and sleeves because I got something from eBay a couple of months ago and I forgot I bought it and now I can't finish opening these cards because I don't know how to keep them safe.

Anyway, I was about to document my pack openings when I was invited to a Viber chatroom.

Needless to say, I will never buy a box of fat packs again... and I "journeyed" from my place to Tomas Morato to meet with my friends in After Hours.

The place is a combo of sophisticated drinks and I guess "sosy" people.

I have this thing for ordering the girliest drinks especially if they aren't expensive. This all started when my cousin flew from the United States and it was the first time I'd been to a watering hole since that Lipa, Batangas stint. I know I concoct a similar drink whenever I just pour alcohol on some random mix like Coke, Sprite, and Nestea but I guess this hits differently because of the ambiance.

So the first drink I had is called Satan's Whiskers.

And then there's Midori Kakubin Sour.

And finally, Morning Glory Fizz.

And this is a cup of Nescafe Caramel Lotte because I really wanted to stay awake so I can watch at least one episode of Letterkenny's Season 10.

I NEVER got to finish an episode.

I also get why the drinks are batshit expensive. It's like Starbucks for alcohol. You stay at Starbucks for hours even if you only had a single drink because you just want to catch up with buddies. I have been e-drinking for years now and this is a nice change of pace.

I never got to order their grub... so maybe I'll try it the next time I go there.

I will buy a car when WFH is over.
