Maybe it’s time for me to try doing an NBA Power Rankings. It’s going to be tough though, considering there are 30 teams and each one has around 15 to 18 players rotating in and out of the lineup.

Anyway, I get what Draymond Green is trying to do. He’s asserting himself as one of the greats, both defensively and in getting inside an opponent’s head. But man, fifteen seconds after all that trash talk, getting absolutely posterized by genetic freak Victor Wembanyama had to be a harsh reality check.

I’m not taking anything away from Draymond Green. His career has been incredible, especially for a second-round pick who’s spent more than a decade competing at the highest level with the same team. But this “Welcome to Wemby” moment is one of those plays that everyone is going to remember for as long as that clip exists anywhere on the internet.
