No question, Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time when he had the basketball in his hands.
If you are a 90s kid, it's hard to think that Flight Number 23 can be schooled by anyone. His rise prompted the end of the Magic Johnson and Larry Bird rivalry and prompted the end of the championship aspirations of Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, Reggie Miller, Dominique Wilkins, and a lot of his contemporaries.
Yes, maybe he encountered a slight hiccup after his first retirement. This is the supposed "gambling retirement" when Jordan was "kind of" suspended for 18 months because of his alleged dealing that also involved a mafia.
This is why I had to get this card. At first glance, this is just a Sam Vincent base card. Vincent is Jordan's teammate in Chicago who first started his NBA journey with the Boston Celtics. After winning a title in 1986, the former Michigan State Spartan had stops with the Seattle Supersonics and the Bulls before ending his NBA career with the Orlando Magic.

This card is awesome because I think this is the only card to feature Michael Jordan wearing the number 12 jersey. As it stands, the only way to upstage Jordan back then is by stealing his uniform. Jordan wore a nameless #12 jersey to the surprise of everyone and his anger was quickly revealed when he threw shot after shot without any remorse - as if he is blaming the Orlando fans for the botched security measure.
Orlando won the game though, 135 - 129, further pissing off Jordan.
Jordan finished the game with 49 points and 49 percent from the field.
Sam Vincent only took three shots (hitting one) in 26 minutes and finished the game with seven points, two rebounds, and five assists.
