I love listening to Conan O’Brien’s podcast while I work.
Actually, that’s not true.
Because once I start listening, I stop working completely.
Hehe.

So it feels perfect to tie his Sanggang Dikit cameo into my blog. Conan has this fun habit of trying to appear on local TV whenever he visits a country. Some of my favorites include his cameo in Jang Nara’s K-drama and that time he became a weatherman in Iceland, struggling to pronounce all those impossible Icelandic city names.
And now, there’s this Sanggang Dikit cameo—where he plays a flawed foreigner in an action scene with Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado. I’ve always liked Jennylyn in romcoms, but I think I’m more of a Dennis Trillo fan. Dude can act.
I still remember a network-wide Christmas party where everyone was singing upbeat pop hits, and there he was at Amoranto Stadium, singing Razorback’s “Payaso” in the pouring rain—in front of all the bosses. Another time, at an employee birthday lunch, he performed “Giyang,” also by Razorback.
Yeah.
That’s the thing about Dennis Trillo—while Dingdong Dantes would rock out to Eraserheads, Rivermaya, or Parokya ni Edgar in events, Dennis goes straight for 90s Pinoy underground alternative rock.
Yeah.
