INTRODUCING... ROAD TO MEDAL!

Wazap.
According to ChatGPT, my site thrives on “evergreen” posts. At first, I didn't know what the hell that meant, but apparently my blogs keep getting traction as long as some Philippine sports-loving dude needs info on the player he's watching.
I think I like being in that niche.
That said, I also realize why this makes sense. Before the Asian Games, I was trying to compile Gilas Pilipinas stats from previous basketball events like the Asian Games and the SEA Games. One thing I realized is that, similar to HumbleBola, Inbounds Pass, and UBELT, if a website becomes dead, so does the information from that tournament, and that sucks.
I was on the verge of pulling my hair out from... well, all the places on my body, because I got so stressed out, exhausting every possible option just to find stats.
So I have this mindset that, for as long as an event is either ongoing or still fresh in people's minds, I have to mine the stats before the website goes dead.
This is why I created this part of my blog called...
Initially, I will just get the stats of Filipino players who had podium finishes, as well as those from team sports that interest me. I will also try to include as many names as possible.
I mean, I just found out that most Mongolian names start with “Enkh” and most Cambodian names start with “Srye.”
I mean, that would be phonetically insane, right?
That said, these are the threats our athletes could either face now or in the future. In some ways, I hope this could become an awesome source of information for interested parties.
Anyway, expect me to drop a bunch of Asian Games information in the coming days.
Get Sydrified.

What you wrote is true! Bago ako maghahanap ng old Philippine Basketball stats sa Wayback Machine archive.org, pumupunta muna ako dito sa website na ito and then sa wikipedia. I usually spend more time looking at PBA stats here than the Official PBA website dahil mas gusto tumingin ng cumulative stats instead of single game box scores. Not a joke.
