JASON WILLIAMS AND THOSE JERSEYS

I am starting a Jason Williams basketball collection. I have a couple of his rookie cards but it's not as extensive. I know, I might have said this in a previous entry but ever since I bought a car, I have been cautious in my spending.

But yeah, had I known that White Chocolate would be coming to Manila, I would have nerfed COMC.COM's inventory. As mentioned, I am a fan of Williams dating back to his Sacramento rookie days.

Anyway, I was checking out the One Sports Facebook page and I just noticed something on this picture.

J-Will has a Mike Bibby rookie jersey on the left side of his pic. This is a neat easter egg considering that Williams was traded to Bibby when the Grizzlies moved from Vancouver to Memphis and basically ended the iconic #55 jersey. Yes, Williams still had his popularity when he moved from Sacramento but Bibby enjoyed a more extensive playoff run.

Anyway, it's awesome to see that Williams is here and hopefully, this is not the last time.
