All it took for Jim Cornette to like Kenny Omega was having him listen to his video game Twitch streams.
I think Omega is like the nerd version of Rob Van Dam in that they talk as if they are high all the time. With that said, it's insane that Jim Cornette and Brian Last agree with his insights. While I still think Omega is a bad promo, the dude is tough as hell. I remember the promo he had with Chris Jericho in which he forced himself to blabber. Yes, in some ways this was reckless, but at least he finished his active roster stint on his terms.
And the most important thing here is that he found a way to get on Jim Cornette's good side. Yes, this is going to have an expiry date, especially when he returns to AEW and fights his friends.

However, the thing he said regarding CM Punk is believable as hell. Maybe he went with The Young Bucks because the Jacksons wanted to fight Punk and he's just there as a favor or if things get out of control, but it's not foreign thought to have him and Punk talking about it afterward.
And unfortunately, the same can be said with his expose on Rossy Ogawa. I don't think people can do something about the promoter because Japan is male-centric and for me, the only reason why Asuka can do such a thing is that she has outgrown Japanese women's wrestling.
I think there are times when I like his matches, although I just hate his presentation. I know he's going to have a program with Okada when he returns from injury, but hopefully, he can just find another "fresher" feud.
