You'll Be Safe Here is one of Rivermaya's most iconic songs. This came from the group's second iteration wherein Rico Blanco had replaced Bamboo as the band's lead vocalist. In some ways, this second version gave the group a chance to lead the 2000s OPM band mania with the likes of Kamikazee, Itchyworms, and Sugarfree replacing the Eraserheads, The Dawn, and in some ways, True Faith.
It was also the theme song of ABS-CBN's teen horror show Spirits. Think of Spirits as if Tabing Ilog and Oka Takot had a baby.

You can also think of the show as the Pinoy version of Heroes.
Through the years, we have heard the song being arranged differently. Sometimes, Rico Blanco would sing it live and loud, and sometimes he would sing it live and acoustic. There was a version where he sang it with an orchestra.
There is even a version in which Rico was replaced by Moira Dela Torre, giving the song a female perspective.
Anyway, here's another version of the song by Rico Blanco. I guess the term here is gatas na gatas but the song has a more rock edge in it. Also, you can feel the love from Rico Blanco because he always tries to make the song current with every technological advancement available.
This is basically his most popular song as a Rivermaya frontman and I think this song set him up to my favorite Rico Blanco song of all time, Your Universe.
Hopefully, he can show the same love to Shattered Like or one of my favorites from their earlier years, Bring Me Down.
