I barely have time to clean the house, but for the first time in a long while, I swept the entire place.
Every nook and cranny.
All the rooms in the house.
Ever since I turned 30, I rarely do any full-house cleaning. Back in the day, I would use a rag to clean the house and then use a floor polisher. That was my exercise before going to school. I guess this is why I’m fat now, because working from home has completely messed up my sleep schedule. I would sleep at five in the morning, wake up at nine, take a nap at two, work until eight, then take an extended nap until midnight, and either blog or do work until five in the morning.
When I cleaned back then, I usually turned the TV on so I wouldn’t get bored. This was where MTV Asia came in handy. At its peak, I was almost certain that I would hear, in no particular order, Tina Arena’s “Burn,” Semisonic’s “Closing Time,” the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” and Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn” playing in the background.
This time, though, I discovered a song by Rol3ertxREJAY called “Aftertaste.” It’s catchy, and it takes me back to the days when I would still go to bars and hang out with my friends.
It sounds cool.
