OG | THIS TRAP IS SO GOOD

ree

I’ve been watching a lot of DOTA lately, and honestly, I’m loving how the game somehow brought together two of my favorite things — OG and an all-Pinoy team. What started as an organization retreating to the SEA server after getting repeatedly battered by stronger European teams has turned into an unbelievable run. And hopefully, this tear continues all the way to the next The International.

What makes this even crazier is that OG stumbled upon a scrappy Pinoy core, made them competitive, and even managed to carry over a few trademarks from the original OG roster. I grabbed this particular moment from the Blast Slam V stream because it felt like a 2025 reboot of OG’s classic, chaotic brilliance.

With the game essentially theirs and no Divine Rapier in sight (that item is still terrible), Skem dove deep into the Yakult Brothers’ base just to plant a ward. Then Natsumi and Nikko/Force hid in the trees while Skem played decoy. A Yakult Brother eventually wandered in, and boom — the trap was set. This was straight out of the OG playbook, like a perfectly executed Elmer Fudd / Yosemite Sam / Wile E. Coyote gag.

A few minutes later, OG secured the win.

Even Ceb and Notail were loving this move.

I guess this is what happens when you bankroll a Pinoy team loaded with talent and built on the spirit of overachieving trolls. I’m really loving this squad, and I hope they keep racking up success.
