Jet Chang wasn’t KIA’s first choice. Heck, he wasn’t even the second. But when the team’s plans to bring in a Korean sniper fell through, KIA gambled on the Taiwanese wingman—and he delivered.
Known in international circles as a scoring machine for Chinese Taipei, Chang once led BYU–Hawaii to the NCAA Division II finals and was a mainstay in the 2009 and 2011 FIBA Asia Championships. He added hustle stats and clutch buckets that impressed even playing-coach Manny Pacquiao. Though his PBA stint was brief, his energy and impact were undeniable.
