A former MVP in Jordan’s top pro league, Mahmoud Abdeen brought his international pedigree to the PBA when he joined powerhouse San Miguel in 2016. But in a team stacked with talent from top to bottom, Abdeen found minutes hard to come by, averaging just 3.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in limited action.
The Jordanian guard showed flashes of his court vision and playmaking, but the Beermen’s depth meant Abdeen’s role remained minimal. Despite the low stats, it’s worth noting he suited up for one of the deepest rosters in the PBA, where even the reserves could start for other squads.
