One of the most polished scorers among all Asian imports, Michael Madanly made an immediate impact when he joined the NLEX Road Warriors in the 2015 Governors’ Cup, averaging an impressive 19.7 points per game in 10 outings. The Syrian wingman showcased his smooth shooting stroke and high basketball IQ, quickly becoming a focal point of NLEX’s offense.
A year later, TNT Tropang Texters brought him back as their Asian import in 2016, where he played a more limited role but still contributed 13.5 points per game over 15 contests. Across two PBA stints, Madanly totaled 25 games, averaging 15.96 PPG, proving he could adapt and compete at a high level in the Philippine pro league.
More than just a shooter, Madanly was respected for his calm demeanor and ability to space the floor—making him one of the more memorable and productive Asian imports in PBA history.
