A true stretch-forward pioneer in the PBA, Ranidel de Ocampo combined finesse, clutch instincts, and a high basketball IQ to build one of the most accomplished careers of his generation.
RDO’s resume includes 6 championships, 2 Finals MVPs, and a Best Player of the Conference award in the 2014 Governors' Cup. His consistency earned him 3 Mythical First Team nods (2012, 2013, 2014) and a Mythical Second Team citation in 2015.
Known for his deadly pick-and-pop game and calm demeanor under pressure, Ranidel was a go-to guy in crunch time and a mentor to younger bigs. He may not have claimed league MVP honors, but his winning pedigree and ability to deliver in the playoffs made him one of the most valuable forwards of his era.
