Rodrigue Akl arrived in the PBA with championship pedigree, having helped Al Riyadi win the 2011 FIBA Asia Champions Cup in Manila. But his stint with NLEX was far more subdued. In 12 games, Akl averaged 2.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, serving mostly as a backup guard.

While his playing time was limited, Akl brought veteran poise and a steady hand to the Road Warriors’ second unit. Unfortunately, the Lebanese floor general never quite found the rhythm or opportunity to make a major impact.
