Jason Mendoza is such an awesome character. Inasmuch as it sucks to have a Filipino-American become this idiot character, at least Manny Jacinto did this well. I mean the dude pulls in crazy criminal acts and yet for some reason, we think of it as... cute.

It's the Season 1 Episode 4 moment where Jason speaks out on how heaven is "racist" because they pegged him as Jianyu the Taiwanese monk instead of a Floridian with Filipino roots.
Also, it would have sucked if they treated Jason as a math geek. I am done with people thinking that Asians are math geeks. Sure, I love stats and I can multiply things inside my head to an extent, but I can’t really say that I am a human counting machine.
Anyway, here are a couple of reasons why Jason is one of my favorite characters.
