Exploding onto the scene with jaw-dropping athleticism and a motor that wouldn’t quit, Kelly Williams was a walking highlight reel for the Sta. Lucia Realtors. In just his second season, he claimed the 2008 MVP award, adding to his 2007 Rookie of the Year honor. Known for his thunderous dunks, hustle plays, and perimeter agility rare for a big man, he played a vital role in seven PBA championships, mostly with TNT. Williams collected three Mythical Five selections, four Mythical Ten citations, and a Best Player of the Conference plum in the 2007–08 Philippine Cup. While injuries and health concerns slowed him down at times, his two All-Defensive Team nods—spanning over a decade apart—prove that he aged like a fine, still-explosive wine.
