This is a good thing.

I guess in-ring segments will always be a wrestling fixture but if they really want to bring a hint of realism to their rivalries, then press conferences are awesome.

If boxing matches can't generate the same buzz, then let wrestling have this, and then play it back on the screen during Raw and Smackdown. AEW may have touched on this during their All Out media scrum but it is content they can't use. There were too many backstories a casual fan may not care for and most importantly, it had too many expletives.

When Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins did their promo, it was a direct response. In this press conference, Roman Reigns answered Logan Paul directly in response to the events that led to this match.
