THOUGHTS | TREVOR NOAH HAS LEFT THE DAILY SHOW!

I like Trevor Noah.

I've seen Jon Stewart at his peak and while I still think that he is awesome, the people he spawned aren't as pretty. Stephen Colbert has been a major letdown for me. He was awesome when The Colbert Report was still on and now he's just another late-night talk show host. With this in mind, who knew Jimmy Kimmel is part of that group? Now I know Seth Meyers has been political and ditto for Jimmy Fallon (although Fallon tried to veer away from the tribal trump call), but man, I wish Kimmel just stuck to his old Matt Damon ways instead of overloading on the Republican jokes.

Samantha Bee? I wish she had a better way to sound off her views.

Finally, Jon Oliver.

I still like Last Week Tonight but only when he stops being over-preachy. During his first two seasons, he stayed away from the Trump bashing. Ever since he lost everything that made him unique.

I am losing focus.

Returning to Trevor Noah...

Yes, he is pro-Biden but it's not like he's just for Biden. Trevor is basically pro-issue rather than focusing on the characters. His "Behind the Scenes" takes are awesome because it shows that he is alike Stewart. Jon Stewart may be pro-Biden but he still latches on the issues as if he's a fake newsperson. Noah sounds it off like he's a foreigner that doesn't understand why the hell are Americans reacting that way.

And in some ways, it's the same thing we see from Jordan Klepper. I know Klepper has to be obnoxious with how his comedy works but in some ways, he's not as confronting as most late-night talk show hosts.

Anyway, Noah is going to leave The Daily Show like he needs to "Eat, Pray, Love" a situation and in some ways, it's a good thing.

More power.
