I only realized how awesome this track is eight years after it dropped.
Sad.
Anyway, I've been bingeing a lot of Pinoy rap lately, and funny enough, I only revisited this song because I stumbled on an AI cover first. It’s hard to fully embrace these AI versions—they don’t really honor the original artists—but they do either enhance your appreciation or push you to check out the real thing.
Title aside (or that one particular word), this song absolutely hits. It’s a heartfelt piece about a lovesick guy who’s stuck with the reputation of being a “fuckboy.” And yeah, “fuckboy” is a pretty harsh label—a term for someone immature, self-centered, unreliable, and often disrespectful in romantic situations.
Having that tag sucks because it instantly limits how people see you, especially when you’re genuinely trying to win someone over. It’s like starting a race with 100-pound weights strapped to both your feet—you either push through or get crushed by the judgment.
Anyway, Jroa sounds great here. He sings with real emotion, and the chorus is ridiculously catchy.
