PIANOTE | JESUS MOLINA - BURN IT TO THE GROUND ('80S BOP VERSION)

Burn It to the Ground is one of those rare mainstream rock tracks that bridges my love for both rock music and pro wrestling. I mean, Let the Bodies Hit the Floor is a given, and that Green Day song too—but Burn It to the Ground really stuck with me because it was WWE Raw’s theme song for years. That’s why I never expected Pianote and Jesus Molina to flip it into something that sounds straight out of the '80s.

That said, Molina did a solid job—especially considering he’d never heard the song before and it's definitely not his usual style. Turning a heavy anthem into something happy was actually pretty cool. Still, it threw me off a bit—this is a song I usually headbang to, not bop along like I’m listening to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
