MICHAEL PHILLIPS 2027 PBA DRAFT

Look, don’t mind me. I’m just checking out the teams and figuring out who currently holds the rights to the first-round picks in the 2027 PBA Draft.

Anyway, this is what I think the current ownership of the picks looks like. Let me know if I missed anything, because for some reason, the reformatted PBA website hasn’t been very clear about the older transactions. I’m not blaming the website entirely, though. I’m sure the information will show up eventually.

Actually, I really don’t get why players think that going to Japan and Korea is a bad thing sa PBA. It’s basically our version ng NBA. Parang dapat magalit ng European fans kasi their players choose the NBA over the Euroleague.

The PBA is a fallback. This is not a bad thing. Pag hindi naging okay ang Euro sa NBA stint niya, pwede siyang bumalik sa dating team niya. Just like the PBA is going to be for the international players.

The problem is, yung age ng players pagpasok nila sa PBA is pretty much their prime years. Kaya nga the Japan and Korean leagues raid the college leagues kasi at least at this point, may experience…
