The World Heavyweight Championship is back and let me say this.
I like the new design.
Also, after the Spinner belt and the Brand belt, the slick design of the bygone era and the modern look of the current iteration is just beautiful to the eyes.
The rationale behind it is a bit questionable though.
I get the reason behind the second main event belt but this situation could swing both ways. If there was just one main belt in the WWE Draft era, then we wouldn't have had the title reigns of The Great Khali, Jack Swagger, The Miz (his second reign), Jinder Mahal, and the other names that could have held the belt but I kind of forgot. I get the pros of having multiple main champions but at this point, any champion not named Roman Reigns is secondary.
Is this a way to appease the networks or to entice Drew McIntyre from re-signing?
Anyway, the title looks hot and I'm glad that Triple H experienced the universal approval of the shiny gold belt.
